There is a very special atmosphere inside a BIG igloo - a magical feeling of peace, quiet and solitude that is hard to find elsewhere. The February rays from the low hanging sun cast a beautiful, almost blue light against the snow block walls of the igloo. The BIG igloos are custom made for special snow events. The current BIG igloos are between 5,0 -5,5 meters in diameter ( 15-16 feet across) and 2,5 meters in height (7- 8 feet high). The idea is to provide small groups with the room to experience staying together in an igloo, whilst retaining the original design and atmosphere of these wonderful dome shaped buildings.
